He has to be kidding...
This is the footer from Senator Trent Lott's website even for the Senate's calendar:
Neither Barbara Boxer's website nor Dianne Feinstein's website (the two California Senators) have copyright statements on them. Is Trent kidding, he is paid by us, he is using government equipment, resources, time, even the domain name belongs to the government. In light of what was done to recording artists, he expects to have protected copyright? Give me a break - he is full of himself! It's not quite soup... Well with a little tweaking of the wine.conf file and pre-installing Frontier on another machine then moving it over, Frontier booted. I had to clear about 40 assertions regarding menu issues, but no big deal and there Frontier was, running two thread and all. Then I went to my other machine and to the browser, Frontier went Boom. But this is an incredible start. A lot of code is running just for Frontier to boot. But it does crash soon thereafter. Now I can start the real work... Oh my, what am I up to now... I reveal my true color as Courtney Love shows what is happening to our government. Let's stop the back door dealings. Updated at 2:55pm. Hot continues... Fortunately it is a little cooler today, only in the upper 80's low 90's, but I just got a memo (2:15pm) from the building management:
We are currently experiencing mechanical problems with some of our HVAC units located on the roof. As a result of these problems, the air conditioning in your suite may not be working. Duhhh! It is still in the high 80's outside right now at 1:00am PDT and the house is still 91 (except one room which has AC). WINE I've been reading the docs on WINE. I wish there was a simplier how to compile WINE. Note that my initial attempt with WINE will be with the pre-compiled versions, but I know I'll need to compile them soon if I am going to get any real work done. If someone knows a pointer to compile docs in the form:
Please send me a pointer to it.
